What is the impact of genetic diagnosis on the lives of people with neuromuscular conditions in Latin America?
Through qualitative interviews, we aim to explore the impact of molecular diagnosis on the lives of patients with neuromuscular diseases. We also wish to understand the challenges clinicians face when delivering and discussing results, as well as their aspirations and proposals for change.
We want to hear the views and experiences of patients, their families, and healthcare professionals across more than 15 Latin American countries.
The findings will enable us to identify areas requiring attention in each context and to develop proposals for change.
